For those of you who love coffee as much as I do, this is a place to try! Why? Because apart from excellent coffee, unique snacks, Teajuanas Cafe carries you to...Latin America!
Teajuanas Cafe is a place where each drop of coffee has a flavour of sun, endless beaches and the Latin music will simply make want to dance!
The "pinchos" (small snacks) are imaginative, colourful and simply delicious!
A bit of history in our cups
Did you know that coffee is the second most traded product after oil in the world? The third most traded product is...gold.
Hm...it's interesting to know that I, and maybe you too, belong to a huge community - the coffee lovers. Nowadays world consume 2 billion coffee cups per day!
Originally coffee is known to have come from Ethiopia.
How was it found? There is a legend saying that a shepherd noticed his sheep getting excited when eating the coffee leaves. We can imagine that and smile.
The first historical evidence of either coffee drinking or knowledge of the coffee tree dates from the 15th century, in the Sufi monasteries of Yemen. By the 16th century, it had reached the rest of the Middle East, South India (Coorg), Persia, Turkey, Horn of Africa, and northern Africa. Coffee then spread to the Balkans, Italy and to the rest of Europe, to South East Asia and then to America.
